4/11:My Grandpa Lee Ridge passed away early this morning, peacefully in his sleep. He was born February 6th, 1922, youngest of 4. He built me my own dollhouse (collapsible to boot!) had a wondrous garden I spent many an hour in, both picking flowers, and finding food to nibble on. I loved watching him work in his basement when he was doing woodwork, or developing family pictures. Grandpa was the one who taught me how to draw, and what parsnips were. (I surprised many folks at Kroger when I knew what those were when I fist started 10 years ago thanks to his garden teaching me veggies) He was the family historian, tracking down family records and pictures, and placing it all together and giving it to all of us to know and learn. Grandpa was a huge part of my life growing up, and a wonderful man who loved his family most of all. We miss you greatly already, and look forward to reuniting with you, and Grandma Helen, when we've also lived full, wonderful lives.
